EDLD 5370 WEEK 5 Web Conference
On Saturday, I was not able to attend the conference, but I watched the recording afterward.I learned that the TK20 assignment was not uploaded, which was a relief to me because I had been looking for in in on the TK20 website earlier today. I also learned that we should have been putting our Web Conference reflections on our blog, but Dr. A said that we could post our blog address on our wiki and that would be fine. I am done with my paper and am looking forward to tying up these loose ends tomorrow.

EDLD 5370 Week 4 Web Conference
I was not able to attend the conferences this weekend, but I watched both of them at later times. I was surprised to her about the summary validation report, I had asked the same question last week in regards to using the newer form. I was told to that I needed to use the current form. I have updated my information and used the newer form. I wish I had had clearer information before spending several hours this week changing and adding to the new form.
We were told that we had until November 14th to catch up with any work that we may need extra time for. We are to post to TK20 and we also need to add our wiki link to TK20.

EDLD 5370 Week 3 Web Conference
I attended today's conference still feeling unsure of what I was expected to have in the area of the my internship documents. Because there have been different updates to the program, I was unaware of one piece that is in the latest internship handbook. I asked today during the conference if we needed include this piece in our e-portfolio. Although my question was answered, I still am confused as of what to turn in so that I get credit for all of my hours completed. I will try to attend the conference that is being held tomorrow, and hope that I can reword my question to get a clearer answer.

EDLD 5370 Internship Web Conference Week 2
I attended the web conference this past Tuesday night. After having some difficulty on my previous weeks assignment, I was curious to see what information was to be said at this meeting. I feel that I am a bit overwhelmed with everything at the moment, but as I listened and contributed to the conference, I realize that our class has great help from Dr. Abernathy and Ms. Kirkland. I was again reassured to keep going and if we have any questions we are encouraged to call or text our IA or Dr. A herself.
I have many questions still unanswered, but hopefully the next web conference will take care of that issue. I am glad to have frequent web conferences because of the amount of work we are required to do for this final course!

EDLD 5370 Internship Web Conference Week 1
The web conference was extremely informational, and because there were only around 20 of us in the conference, it was easier to follow along with the discussions on the chat board as well as the actual web conference. We learned that the reflections that we were doing are different than the ones we did for our courses, that we need to prove that we learned the standards. I was glad to know that the IA will correct our work after we turn it in, but it is up to us to correct it weekly. We were told that APA style will be enforced and that Dr. Abernathy had put some helpful tips on the discussion board earlier today. Dr. A also said that we need to be checking the discussion board every day-that the discussion board is our go-to place for any new information. Dr. A will be talking to the new director of TK20 and she will get back to us and let us know what we need to put into this portfolio. There will be two more web conferences this week that we are encouraged to attend.

EDLD 5397 Web Conference Reflection Week 5
By watching the recording of the web conference I was informed of how to go about creating a professional development plan. Because I am completing my masters with the principal as well as technology leadership, we had never had to create a professional development plan. I was glad to learn more about this plan from the conference.
EDLD 5397 Web Conference Reflection Week 4
I was able to watch the recording of the conference. We are wrapping things up in the Internship course and this weeks conferences was highly informative. Dr. Mason and Dr. Martin discussed TK20 and what documents needed to be uploaded by August 20th. We also learned that we can add material to our week 3 assignment and put it on Week 4, and to differentiate between the two weeks.
EDLD 5397 Web Conference Reflection Week 3
In the Web Conference, many things about the action research project were clarified. We were informed that there was not a need to have a lot of quantitative data, that if we had more qualitative data, then that would be okay. We also learned that it could be more like a narrative/descriptive paper and could have charts and graphs to accompany it. After watching the web conference I was prepared to create my first draft of my action research plan.
EDLD 5397 Web Conference Reflection Week 2
I watched the web conference the day after the meeting. Because there are different cohorts taking this class, many of the questions that were asked were not relevant to technology leadership students. Many people had questions regarding their binder for the principal’s program, which is not of any importance to me or my fellow classmates that are in the technology Leadership program. I have been apprehensive about our final course where we have to write our final paper, I was relieved to find out through this web conference that there will be a form given to us to help us with this endeavor!

EDLD 5397 Web Conference Reflection Week 1
I was not able to attend the web conference due to a meeting that I already had scheduled. I was however able to watch and listen to the recording after it was put on Epic. Before watching the recording, I had a few questions regarding the week 1 assignment, but after watching I realized that I needed to find and adjust 8 pieces of my internship plan. I was glad to get the information to go ahead and contact my mentor so that I would have time to arrange a meeting for her to review my internship plan. Although there was some good information in the web conference, it was a bit confusing because of all of the different stages all of us students are all in-many of the questions that people had were not of any importance to me, and as usual there were several questions regarding TK20. It was good to hear from Dr. Martin as he clarified that this course is more “about thinking than writing”. Because the assignment could potentially be several pages or one page, it was also reassuring to get clarification on how much detail to go into on our responses. Although there were times during the conference that people were asking questions that did not pertain to ET cohorts, overall as usual, it was nice to hear from our professors and beneficial to get information right from the source(s)!
